Historical Places & Museums

There is of course so many historical sites and musems in Istanbul. Probably a week will not be enough to see all of them. But visiting Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern, Topkapi and Dolmabahce Palaces and shopping in Grand Bazaar are some of the musts in Istanbul.

Night Life

All our foreign guests are fascinated about Istanbul's night life when they go out with us. There are so many things told and heard about Istanbul and it's night life, but still everybody becames pretty amused, beyond their expectations.
Especially in the summer time, you must experience the high class clubs on the Bosphorus, such as Reina, Anjelique, Sortie, Sapphire, Crystal, Supper Club, Pearl, Su Ada (priceless island on the Bosphorus, home for restaurants andnight club), etc.. Of course there is a long queue at the entrences and there is a very big chance that you are turned-away from the gate but not with us. You will truly feel luxury and class when you are clubb-hopping along the Bosphorus by a high speed boat, as we regularly arrange for all our night life experiences.

Shopping

Istanbul is a wonderland for shopaholics. When speaking about shopping and history together, Covered Bazaar (Grand Bazaar) is a "must see". It is the world's oldest and biggest covered bazaar, after Bursa (ex Ottoman Capital, now Turkey's 4th biggest city, about 2 hours from Istanbul). Istanbul's famous Covered Bazaar built in 1461, has more than 3,600 shops on about 60 streets, stretched over 30,700 square meters (all covered). In the past, each street was a home for a specific hand-craft and profession, but today they are all mixed. Covered Bazaar offers a very wide range of carpet & kilim shops, jewellers, leather shops, hand-made glassware, traditional backgammon and chess boards, traditional (touristical) clothes such as fhes, etc. Also with a lot of spice and Turkish Delight sellers, probably the best place for souvenirs. Covered Bazaar is visited by about 250,000 to 400,000 visitors per day, depending on the season. However we must let you know that, prices very a lot and you must be really careful when shopping at Covered Bazaar. Try to have a local with you, or us :) We will make sure that you will not be chipped off.

Exploring the City

The heart of Istanbul is the Taksim Square, day and night always somethings goes on in Beyoglu (Taksim Square’s main street). Not only all sorts of shops, cafés and restaurants you can find but also a huge variety of night life goes on in Taksim as well. But we highly recommend you to see the Anatolian side’s main street as well, its called Bagdat Street. Because of being around the residental areas there isn’t much to do at night but in the day time it's pleasent to have a walk on the Bagdat Street where you will also find many brands and stores just
like an open air shopping center, as well as classy cafes and restaurants. There are many different centers to see in the city.. Ortaköy is another one right on the bosphorus with its original cafés and bazaar full of hand made accessories definitely something characteristic about Istanbul. Another center on the bosphorus is Bebek where you will find luxury cafés and many pretty ladies as well as good looking guys just like Nisantasi, for being the fashion centers of the city.
